About The C.O. Ministry!
We utilize many outreach tools from Gospel Publishing, and one such process that they carried for several years was by Evangelist Bill Fay called "Share Jesus Without Fear." About 1997 we read Bill's book "Share Jesus Without Fear" after hearing from several of our pastors of how Pastor Alton Garrison, then pastor at North Little Rock First A/G, (currently our Assistant General Superintendent) was using this process to teach and train his congregation in witnessing. This is just one method that is available for a church to use, if they so request, in advance of any Light For The Lost (LFTL) bible distributions or other outreaches that are conducted. The witnessing training is usually held after Bro Ellsworth is with a church for a Pentecostal Renewal time.
Why Community Outreach? What People are Saying
“While struggling in a 50 year old church that had lost its reputation in the community during the previous 20 years, CO came in and helped touch the community and motivate our congregation to touch the community. From helping with painting and making the building look great, leading a door-to-door LFTL outreach, mobilizing sectional churches, to a week of powerful drama outreach, Ron, Carla and family helped bring hope back into the lives of the church and my wife Lora and I. It was “Hope” that once again these bones could live.”
"C.O. is one of the greatest programs in our District. It is a true picture of evangelism in action. C.O. reaches out to the community, and is having a great impact on souls coming into the Kingdom."
